​MIKE HILL

One of re_THINK's Co-Founders he graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors in urban and regional planning he won an APA Outstanding Achievement Award for a student project he helped to lead. He then moved to Hawaii to pursue a Doctorate of Architecture at the University of Hawaii where he met Russ Wozniak. . Always passionate about mentoring and using design to make peoples lives better he organized and ran a chapter of Architecture for Humanity in Honolulu before the national organization closed in January 2015.

This led him to partnered with Russ Wozniak and two other students in 2013 to first develop the concept for re_THINK. He and Russ then hosted the initial design competition in May of 2013 at the Honolulu AIA where they built teams of students from the University of Hawaii’s School of Architecture and teamed them with local firms.

In addition to being a designer Mike helps to manage the day to day operations of re_THINK and continues to mentor the next generation of architects and humanitarians.
